New Vision Therapy (NVT)

NVT uses light touch, guided breath, and nervous system support to remove those blocks and restore balance.

Helping your body and Nervous System work together again

Do you feel stuck in stress mode, carrying tension you can’t shift, or dealing with recurring aches despite trying multiple therapies?
New Vision Therapy is a gentle yet powerful approach that helps you release long-held patterns in your body and nervous system, so you can move, breathe, and live with greater ease.

What NVT can help with…

  • Chronic pain or muscle tightness

  • Nervous system dysregulation (always “on edge”)

  • Stress, burnout, or trauma recovery

  • Unexplained physical symptoms or recurring injuries

  • Feeling disconnected from your body

How it works

Your body has a natural ability to heal - but sometimes restrictions in the muscles, fascia, or nervous system block that process. NVT uses light touch, guided breath, and nervous system support to remove those blocks and restore balance.

Your session may include

  1. Assessment – visual & hands-on checks to identify structural and nervous system imbalances.

  2. Gentle Hands-On Release – freeing tension in the cranial system, fascia, pelvis, or lower body.

  3. Vagus Nerve Support – calming your fight-or-flight response so your body can rest and repair.

  4. Other Modalities (Optional) – if it’s part of our work together, I may combine NVT with other approaches such as EFT (tapping), breathwork, meditation, or SAH Method movement - either during your session or as aftercare. These tools can deepen the release, help anchor changes, and give you simple practices to use between sessions.

After just one session, I felt a profound sense of relief - not just physically but emotionally too. Jo's approach is so gentle yet incredibly effective, and her ability to pinpoint what my body needed was remarkable. I feel lighter, less tense and more in tune with my body.

FAQs

  • New Vision Therapy (NVT) is a revolutionary approach to health and wellbeing that combines cutting-edge science with the body’s natural intelligence. As a Level 3 qualified practitioner, I offer tailored sessions to address recurring injuries, unexplained symptoms, and nervous system imbalances.

  • Every session is uniquely tailored to your needs, combining gentle hands-on techniques with holistic insights to allow the body to self-heal.

    The Science Behind NVT

NVT integrates principles from neuroscience, anatomy, and physiology:

    • Cranial System: The cranial system consists of the bones, membranes, and fluids that protect the brain and spinal cord. Imbalances here can restrict the nervous system’s function. By applying gentle adjustments, NVT improves communication between the brain and body, helping restore balance and reducing symptoms such as headaches or fatigue.

    • Nervous System: The nervous system regulates nearly every function in the body, from movement to emotions. Chronic stress or trauma can place it in a prolonged state of hypervigilance, contributing to pain, tightness, and fatigue. NVT helps calm the nervous system by engaging its parasympathetic (rest-and-repair) mode, promoting deep relaxation and recovery.

    • Fascia: Fascia is a network of connective tissue that encases every muscle, bone, and organ in the body. When fascia becomes tight or restricted, it can cause a ripple effect of tension and dysfunction. NVT focuses on releasing these restrictions, restoring mobility, improving posture, and alleviating chronic discomfort.

  • NVT is suitable for most people and works well whether your goal is:

    • Relieving long-term physical tension

    • Calming your nervous system and mind

    • Supporting recovery from stress or trauma

    • Improving mobility, posture, and breath

    • Feeling more connected to yourself

  • Jo is a certified NVT Practitioner, having successfully completed the training requirements up to Level 3.

This training ensures that the practice is carried out professionally and the correct techniques are used during your sessions.

  • The number of sessions varies depending on your individual needs and the complexity of the issues being addressed.

Some clients notice significant changes after just one or two sessions, while others may benefit from a series of sessions to address deeper or more long-standing imbalances.

  • An NVT session costs £120 for a 2-hour session.

  • Book your first session and experience how it feels when your body and nervous system are finally working in harmony.
