I used to feel it was such a shame that I fell off the wagon after 9 and a half years of sobriety—but now, I see it differently.
I realize it wasn’t a setback, but rather an important part of my sobriety journey. It taught me not only about the power of addiction but also about the power of community support, connection, coaches and, most importantly, the work that truly matters—the feeling work, the HEALING. I didn’t know or understand healing, trauma, ADHD or movement before, and I’m grateful for the chance to step into that world.

Your guidance has been a huge part of this transformation.
Sober Dave Your IG, Sober Jo, led me to you, and from there, my universe was aligned. Now, I’m slowly going deeper into the process and discovering more about myself.

Almost turning 59 , in 8 days time and finally starting to show my self some compassion & forgiveness.

Friday I’ll be attending my first winter solstice event, going solo and staying overnight. I’m excited and looking forward to what that brings.

You may not fully realise the positive impact your work has had on me, but it truly has. I look forward to the day we can meet in person, whether that’s in Jersey or even Bali - who knows!
Thank you again, from the bottom of my heart.
