BEACH PARTY FOR FREEDA
The sun has come out, which has put us in the mood to party! But, with the weather being temperamental, we want to organise a community event, where if we have to cancel it, it doesn’t cost anyone anything except in time and love. Before we get busy organising this, please register your interest if you’d like to join a mindful meet-up beach party event, all in support of FREEDA Charity!
Here are the details:
Date: 24th August
Time: 2 PM until early evening (You can drop in if you can’t make the whole afternoon).
Location: TBC - depending on numbers
There will be the opportunity to connect with like-minded people, without alcohol, no judgment, just soulful conversations, being silly, letting go and maybe even having a dance as the sun goes down! You will be encouraged to embrace your inner child with fun games and activities for everyone to enjoy. For those who like to get in the water, we’ll also go for a sea swim.
What to Bring:
Your beach set up - make yourself comfy!
Your own alcohol-free drinks, water and food.
A playful spirit ready for fun and community connection!
Special Treats:
The Coop, Myth Drinks and Ktea Kombucha are donating some alcohol-free drinks on a first-come, first-served basis.
Donation:
£10 minimum donation to support FREEDA Charity.
Registration Deadline:
Please register your interest by Wednesday, 14th August, to help us plan accordingly. We will be in touch with more information after this date.

About Freeda
(Formerly Jersey Women’s Refuge) is the island’s only independent charity supporting women and children who have experienced domestic abuse. Freeda provides safe accommodation as well as a 24/7 helpline service. Their mission is to free the island from domestic abuse through education and prevention.
This is a fantastic opportunity to unwind, enjoy the summer and the beach, and make a difference.
