THE REAL PRACTICE

A little space
for you.

We often know what helps us feel better. We just forget to make space to do it.

The Real Practice is an online space to pause, check in with yourself and practice together.

Simple things you can return to, in the middle of real life.

I’m building it gradually with a small founding community. Join the waiting list and I’ll let you know when it opens more widely.

What you’ll find here

A moment to pause

Short, guided live practices to notice how you are and ask yourself, “What do I need?”

Cameras and speaking are optional. Regular live practices are not recorded. If a particular session will be recorded, I’ll make that clear in advance.

Something to come back to

A library of practices to use in your own time, whenever you need them.

Somewhere to practice together

A welcoming community, with longer sessions to explore different practices. Over time, I’d love to invite other practitioners to hold sessions too.

Who it’s for

For people who hold a lot.

You might spend much of your day thinking, organising, supporting others or keeping things moving. You may know what helps you feel more like yourself, but find it difficult to make space for it.

The Real Practice offers somewhere to pause and return to yourself, alongside other people doing the same.

A little space to notice what you need, and practise responding to that - in life, at home and at work

What does a practice look like?

Permission to pause. A moment to notice.

In a typical 15-minute check-in, we begin by arriving.

You might notice the support of the chair beneath you or your feet on the floor. Then we gently bring attention through the body, noticing how you’re feeling before trying to change anything.

Perhaps there’s tension, tiredness or a sense of being pulled in several directions. Perhaps you feel settled. You don’t have to find a particular feeling or explain what you notice.

From there, we ask a simple question:

“What do I need?”

We might explore some gentle movement, a breath, a shift in posture or a moment of stillness. Everything is an invitation, with room to choose what feels comfortable for you.

Over time, the intention is to bring these little moments into everyday life: before a meeting, after a difficult conversation, or as you move from work into time at home.

Creating a little more space to notice how you are and choose what comes next.

Nothing to keep up with.

No catching up. No falling behind.

Come and go as you need. Use what supports you.
Leave what doesn’t.

You don’t need to practice perfectly, or every day.
You’re welcome as you are.

I’m Jo Ferbrache

Founder of The Real Practice.

My background is in marketing and senior leadership, and my work now brings together coaching, Physical Intelligence and body-based practices.

I created this space because knowing what supports us and making time to do it can be two very different things. Sometimes it helps to have somewhere to turn up, be guided and practice together.

I guide the sessions with warmth, curiosity and room for choice. My hope is that this becomes a shared space we help shape together - a place to build a better relationship with ourselves, and with the people around us.

Support for you
and your organisation.

If you’re doing well on the outside but feeling under pressure on the inside, you’re welcome to get in touch. My 1:1 work gives us space to work with what’s happening for you, through the body as well as conversation.

I also work with organisations through talks, workshops and ongoing support for teams. If you’d like to explore working together, I’d love to hear from you.
